Using Your Shopping Cart

Learn how to manage your unified shopping cart for products, tickets, and donations.

Shopping Cart Guide

Your shopping cart is unified across all purchases—products, event tickets, and donations can all be purchased together in a single checkout.

Viewing Your Cart

Click the cart icon in the header to see your current items. The icon shows a badge with the number of items in your cart.

Adding Items

Adding Products

From any product page:

  1. Select a variant (if the product has multiple options)
  2. Set the quantity with − and + (or type it)
  3. Click Add to Cart
  4. The cart icon updates and a panel opens with what you added: Checkout takes you straight to payment, Keep shopping closes it

Adding Event Tickets

From any event page:

  1. Browse to the event details
  2. Select ticket types and quantities
  3. Click Add to Cart
  4. Tickets appear in your cart alongside any products

Unified Cart Layout

Your cart is organized into sections:

All items are purchased together in a single checkout for convenience.

Adding a Donation

If the organization accepts donations, the payment page offers a small "Add a
Donation" row above the card field:

  1. Tap $2 or $5, or tap Other and type any amount, then Add
  2. The page reloads with your gift in the order summary, and it checks out with everything else. If your order was already free when you tapped Checkout (a free ticket or download), a gift means there is now something to pay, so you return to your cart — your email is kept; tap Checkout to pay. If a discount code you applied on the payment page made it free, you stay on the payment page with Pay and the new total
  3. Not this time? Tap No thanks to hide the row
  4. Changed your mind? Your gift shows as "Your $5.00 donation" where the row was — tap Remove beside it to take it back. You stay on the payment page, and the total goes back down

To cover the processing fees on a gift, give through the organization's
donation page instead.

Managing Cart Items

Updating Quantities

On the cart page, change the number next to an item. It saves by itself a moment later and the totals recalculate — there is no separate update button.

Removing Items

Click the remove button (X) next to any item to remove it from your cart. The cart will update automatically.

Discount Codes

To apply a discount code:

  1. Click Checkout and, on the payment page, tap "Have a discount code?" above the card field
  2. Enter your code in the field
  3. Click Apply
  4. The page reloads and the discount appears in your order summary; tap Remove to take it off

A store's discount code applies to its products, and an event's code applies to that event's tickets — a store code won't discount tickets, and an event code won't discount merch. You can use one code per order, and a fixed-amount code comes off your order once (split across the items it covers), not off each item. If a code is invalid, expired or doesn't apply, the reason shows right under the code field, which stays open with your code still in it so you can fix a typo, and a code that doesn't apply never removes one you already applied.

Order Summary

The order summary shows:

Proceeding to Checkout

When you're ready, click the Checkout button. You'll be taken to a single
secure payment page where you'll enter:

If your total changed after the page loaded (say you changed your cart in
another tab), tapping Pay charges nothing: the page reloads with a note
naming the new total, so you can check it and pay again. If your address
isn't finished, Pay says so and scrolls you back up to it.

Cart Expiration

Your cart stays open for 30 minutes after your last change. Event tickets in it are held for 15 minutes from when you started the cart; other items aren't set aside, so if stock is limited they may sell out before you check out. Complete your purchase promptly for in-demand products and popular events.
