Using Discount Codes for Events

Have a promotional code or discount? Here's how to use it when buying tickets.

Where to Enter Your Code

During Checkout

1. Add tickets to your cart
2. Proceed to checkout
3. Look for "Have a discount code?"
4. Click to expand the code field
5. Enter your code exactly as received
6. Click Apply

Before Adding to Cart

Some events show a promo code field on the ticket selection page:

1. Choose your ticket quantities
2. Enter your code in the discount field
3. Add to cart — the discount is applied and shown in your cart

If Your Code Works

When successfully applied:

• You'll see a confirmation message
• The discount appears in your order summary
• The total is reduced accordingly

If Your Code Doesn't Work

"Code Not Valid"

The code may be:

• Expired (check the valid dates)
• Already used (some codes are one-time use)
• Misspelled (check caps, numbers, and spaces)

"Code Not Applicable"

The code may only work for:

• Specific events
• Certain ticket types

"Code Already Redeemed"

If you've used this code before:

• Some codes have a total usage limit, counted in orders (your whole order is one use)
• Contact the event organizer for a new code

Tips for Using Codes

1. Apply before checkout: Some codes can't be added after payment starts
2. One code per order: Most systems allow only one promo code
3. Check exclusions: Some ticket types may be excluded
4. Note expiration: Use your code before it expires
5. Save the code: Keep it handy until your order is complete
