Frequently Asked Questions

Visit the Sign Up page and choose your preferred method:

Email sign-up: Enter your name, email, and create a password. You'll receive a confirmation
email to verify your address.

Google sign-up: Click "Continue with Google" to sign up instantly using your Google account.
No password needed—your account is created automatically with your Google profile info.

After signing up, you can access your orders, tickets, donations, and purchase history all in one place.

Click "Forgot your password?" on the login page and enter your email address. We'll send you a
secure link to reset your password. The link expires in 6 hours for security purposes.
If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder.

Sign in and open Settings in your account menu. There you can change your first and
last name and your sign-in email, then click Save. Notification choices live under
Notifications, and your password under Password.

Changing your email doesn't need your password. We send a confirmation link to the new
address, and the change takes effect once you click it. We also email your current
address so you know it's happening.

Open the email, click This wasn't me, then press Cancel this change (or Undo
this change
) on the page that opens. It works for 7 days, even if the change has already
gone through: it keeps (or puts back) the address that email was sent to as your sign-in
email, and signs out every device, including whoever asked for the change.

To lock that person out completely, it also removes any password, two-factor setup and
linked Google, Apple or Microsoft sign-in. Sign back in with an emailed link and set them
up again. If the page says there's nothing to undo and you still can't get into your
account, email support@equipoi.se.

To delete your account, go to Account Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click "Delete My Account" and confirm your decision. This action is permanent: your
account and personal details are removed, and records a merchant must keep (orders,
receipts) are anonymized rather than deleted.

Each email address can only be associated with one account. If you need to manage
multiple organizations, you can be invited as a staff member to other accounts
while maintaining your personal account.

You don't need to. Your order is linked to the email address you check out with, and
the confirmation page explains how to get in: visit the login page, enter that email,
and we'll send you a one-click sign-in link — no password needed. This lets you track your orders, access digital downloads, and view your purchase history.

No, you can checkout as a guest without creating an account. Your order confirmation
and any digital downloads will be sent to the email address you provide at checkout.
However, creating an account gives you benefits like order tracking, saved addresses,
and easy access to your purchase history and downloads.

You can access your order history using just your email address! Go to /account/login
and enter your email. You'll receive a magic link that lets you securely view all your
past orders, tickets, and donations across all organizations on Equipoise. No password
needed - just check your email for the login link.

Each email address has its own order history. If you've used different emails, you'll
need to log in with each email separately to see those orders. To consolidate your
history going forward, consider creating a full account and always using the same
email for future purchases.

Go to Account > Security > Two-Factor Auth and click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy), then
enter the 6-digit code to verify. Save your backup codes in a safe place — they let
you log in if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Go to Account > Security > Active Sessions to see all devices currently
logged into your account. Each session shows the device type, browser, and last activity
time. You can terminate individual sessions or sign out of all devices at once.

Go to Account > Security > Authentication to manage linked providers.
Click Link Google, Link Apple, or Link Microsoft to link your account for
one-click sign-in. Click Unlink to unlink a provider. Even with no password or linked provider,
you can still sign in with a link sent to your email.

Go to Account > Connections and click Download My Data, then Download
My Data
on the page that opens. Your personal data — profile, order history,
donations, and activity — downloads straight away as a JSON file.

Go to Account > Tickets, select the ticket you want to transfer, and click
Transfer Ticket. Enter the recipient's name and email address. They'll receive
an email with a link to accept the transfer (it expires after 7 days). You can cancel a
pending transfer before it's accepted: open the ticket and click View or cancel this
transfer
.

Yes, if you have been given access to more than one. Use the account switcher in the
top navigation to see everything you can reach and move between them. Each organization
keeps its own settings, data and permissions — nothing crosses over.

They are two separate things that happen to share a sign-in.

Your personal account is yours as a customer: order history, tickets, donations,
memberships, your profile and your security settings.

Organization access is a dashboard you have been granted for someone's store,
events or donations — by the owner, at whatever permission level they chose.

The two stay apart. Your own purchases are private from any organization you help run.

Sign in and open My Connections. Each organization you have interacted with is
listed; open one to see your activity with them and set your preferences.

You control email, postal mail and SMS separately, so you can stay on the
receipts and off the newsletter, or keep email and stop post. Preferences are per
organization — changing one does not touch the others.

Unsubscribing stops marketing email from that organization. Your connection stays,
so you keep seeing your purchase and donation history with them, and you can resubscribe
whenever you want. Receipts and ticket deliveries still arrive — those are not marketing.

Disconnecting ends the relationship: you come off their list and out of their active
contacts. Your transaction history is preserved rather than deleted. You can reconnect
later by buying something or signing up again.

Unsubscribing is what most people want. Disconnect is for a clean break.

Yes, at any time — through the resubscribe link on the unsubscribe confirmation page,
by signing up again through the organization's form, or from My Connections in your
account. Your history with them is preserved either way.

Usually one of four things:

  1. They are transactional. Order confirmations, receipts and ticket deliveries are not marketing and keep arriving for things you have bought — unsubscribing does not and should not stop them
  2. It is already in the queue. A send that was underway when you unsubscribed may still land
  3. It is a different organization. Each one is separate; unsubscribing from one does nothing to the rest
  4. Processing delay — usually minutes

If unwanted marketing is still arriving from the same organization after 24 hours,
contact support.

No. Organizations use tags internally to group their contacts — "donors", "newsletter",
that sort of thing — so they can send relevant messages rather than blasting everyone.
Those labels are their working notes and are not shown to you.

What you do control is whether you hear from them at all, through My Connections —
and that overrides any tag they have applied. If you want to know how you are recorded,
ask them directly.
